Hi mom friend,
Ever felt like you're not doing enough? or felt like there was just too much to do throughout the year and struggle to figure out you'll get it all done. Does just the thought of planning 180 days (or more) of teaching your child feel a little too overwhelming?
Hopefully, I've convinced you that planning well is a necessary part of your homeschooling. (If not, go back and listen to episodes 006 and 007.) Now I want to share simple steps to help planning your year to be less stressful and overwhelming so you enjoy the journey and accomplish more.
I'll share practical strategies for starting well. You'll learn tips for creating a homeschooling calendar, determining when to choose a curriculum, and setting simple milestones and checkpoints. This episode is designed to encourage you with actionable steps to efficiently map out your homeschool journey and create a fulfilling and stress-free homeschool experience.
Join me and get ready to breathe a little easier as you start on your planning journey.
Just a reminder, you don't have to face this homeschool journey on your own. No matter what the devil might have told you, you are not alone, your overwhelm or stress doesn't mean that you shouldn't homeschool, and prioritizing your self-care is not selfish!
I understand exactly how you feel because I've had (and sometimes still have) them too. We all have!
Although I don't have all of the answers, I'm here to encourage and support you, pray with you and cheer you on, help you overcome obstacles, encourage you to take care of yourself, and find effective solutions to decrease your stress so that you can create a fulfilling homeschooling experience for you and your family.
And, of course, join the Stress Management for Christian Homeschool Moms | Facebook for resources to jump-start your planning.
See you there!
